Throughout December, members of Trentham Brass Band were proud to bring the sound of Christmas to shoppers at Tesco Extra Longton, performing a selection of festive favourites while raising vital funds through generous public donations.

From classic carols to upbeat seasonal arrangements, our players created a warm and cheerful atmosphere that brought smiles to faces young and old. The sound of live brass music added something truly special to the busy shopping experience, reminding everyone of the community spirit that makes this time of year so meaningful.

We were incredibly grateful for the kindness and generosity shown by shoppers throughout the month. Every donation, no matter the size, will go directly towards supporting the band—helping us continue to provide music within the local community, maintain instruments, and support both our main band and community initiatives.

Performing in the heart of Longton also gave us a fantastic opportunity to connect with people—whether that was chatting with those who stopped to listen, meeting supporters old and new, or simply sharing the joy of live music.
